On request, we can organize excursions
in which our guests are accompanied to discover the wonderful nature
that surrounds us, walking the numerous paths, some better known
than others, which criss-cross
and penetrate the Appenines up to the "Alpe della luna". In the right seasons you can have the chance to be taken around to look for mushrooms and truffles. That will be a way to learn and rediscover forgotten names of trees and flowers and, perhaps, to spot some of the numerous wild animals which live there: roes, wild boars, porcupines, badgers, eagle owls, buzzards and thousands of other bird species. There are also many places with noteworthy and environmental interest that can be easily reached in less than an hour (Gola del Furlo, Monte Nerone) or in about an hour and a half ( Grotte di Frasassi, La Verna, Camaldoli and so on...) by car. |

The fiveTown Halls in the upper Metauro
Valley have many unexpected monuments and works of art which are
part of a hidden Italy that often unveils its treasures only to
people who are able to appreciate them. Besides, its favourable position in the heart of central Italy and in the middle of the Renaissance itinerary that connects Florence to Urbino, makes it possible to follow cultural excursions of extraordinary interest. In fact some towns such as Urbino, Sansepolcro, Anghiari, Città di Castello can be reached in less than 50 minutes by car. |
